@tiden I just keep seeing people, who are usually pretty excited about a new, safer social media experience, posting it behind content warnings but in public posts, and sometimes people misunderstand the content and start jumping on folks.

@Kortney @tiden Seems like there should be something in the CoC against dogpiling and abuse. Telling people they can't openly be themselves because someone might misunderstand them is much less constructive than telling angry assholes to reign in their anger.

But even if it wasn't dogpiling (tbh I didn't see anyone else but the one person jumping on the person in question) I'd still be very tempted to ditch a site where it felt like it was the cultural norm for anyone to just start accusing me of stuff that offensive without even extending the slightest bit of good faith "maybe I misunderstood you".
