As far as I can tell, hiveway has done everything to the letter following the AGPL by releasing the source code and putting their derivative under the same license.
Retaining attribution information is mentioned absolutely nowhere.

there's no link to the source from the hiveway.net website
The GPL protects your _code_. It doesn't give a shit about _you_.
This is why it's a terrible license.
