@KitRedgrave it works well enough on something that small?

@KS @KitRedgrave you can run it easily for quite a number of users (into the hundreds) on a $2.50 vultr vps if I recall
@KitRedgrave @KS those numbers are just from what I remember lain telling me at some point, mind you, but they've been running pleroma/soykaf for a while so they have a pretty good grasp of the load and stuff i'd say
@KS @KitRedgrave I'm currently running this instance on a $5 vultr vps alongside cuberite (minecraft server in C++), an irc bouncer, and an xmpp server and have had no issues (plus I host a couple git repos there, but that's Basically Free over ssh)
@pea @KS neat! tho i'd get a little uncomfortable with that many things running on the same server and not, like, partitioned into containers or anything
@KitRedgrave @KS yeah, that's fair. I have daily backups, scheduled restarts for most everything, etc
@KitRedgrave @KS I do have them all in separate user accounts with perms quite cleanly handled and all for what it's worth
@pea @KS i know i would forget about all of it and have to dig around and not know what i had on that one pet server. i want something like portainer to tell me what i have lol
@KitRedgrave @KS I only really keep around things I use regularly, so that keeps me from forgetting usually
@pea @KS i want to have a platform where i can just throw out all the things i wanna try and see, and i'll probably forget about things after a while and look back over everything once i decide my cloud bill is too high
@KitRedgrave @KS I'm definitely gonna have a separate VPS for the first fontina instance just to keep it away from the clutter
@KitRedgrave @KS in progress photos-first federated social network, sorta like Instagram I guess but not really
@KitRedgrave @KS sorry, been talking about it a lot with people lately so I didn't even think about bringing it up lol
