@ivesen I don't really feel like going into detail yet again, but the main thing is "I believe license choice is an important aspect of software development and I believe the GPL is trying to erase that ability to choose".
Aside from that, there's also "I don't feel that the GPL adequately protects what I care about in software development" and "The GPL is an extremely long, overly complex document in comparison to most software licenses".
for the record, my personal license choice for anything I release open source is the zlib license, which requires attribution ("The origin of this software must not be misrepresented; you must not claim that you wrote the original software") and to state changes ("Altered source versions must be plainly marked as such")
