You gotta understand that being able to remove yourself from the situation by means such as muting, blocking, and staying off social networks is AN EXPRESSION OF YOUR PRIVILEGE. You’re feeling inconvenience you can remove yourself from, people of color are living violence they cannot just skip

Asking people of color to CW their experience of racial violence and oppression is asking them to TEND TO YOUR PRIVILEGE. This is not okay, and in fact, racist.

If you’re gonna remove yourself from that situation by any means, which is, again, an expression of your privilege because of your ability of doing so, and if you aren’t going to express support for the ongoing revolt, quite frankly, the least you can do if you don’t want to look even worse is simple:

if your reaction to "this behavior is racist" is "you're calling me an unredeemable racist and are willingly harming my mental health" you should be questioning yourself.
