btw I am aware English rules say comma goes inside the quote, but it's a dumb rule, so I choose not to follow it. Same with punctuation.
@Elizafox As a programmer, comma goes outside quotes. It's ingrained into my mind as the "proper" way.

funny story: I learned to do this (and some other things) specifically to emulate programmers, b/c I figured if I fit in more with them I might have a shot at learning Real Skills
@KS @Elizafox same for spanish, quotes delimit lexical objects, comma separates them, so it's an error if a comma is at the end of a sentence
@KS @Elizafox I'm glad I never used Java after HS or else all my paragraphs would end with a semicolon;
