Good job, douches, on tearing down a monument honoring those who lost their lives in the civil war, as if the fact that they were on the losing side means they should be erased.
@KS I would agree but they were fighting for slavery as an institution. That's not noble and does not deserve a statue. Maybe something like the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boot_Monument
@Elizafox TBH I feel a lot different feelings here than, say, honoring <pick any Confederate general here> because these are common people, dragged into a mess of a war by others?
@KS @Elizafox it's mainly meant to commemorate the confederacy, not anybody who fought in it (cf. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silent_Sam#Julian_Carr)
