relatedly: why does mastodon think it's a good idea that when there's an error handling an account's header image (which is rarely seen), it should erase both that AND the avatar even if the avatar was otherwise fine

oh hey I *finally* tracked down and fixed what was causing zoe's header and avatar to always revert to default

@unascribed for the record when I put a toot from sleeping.town in the search bar on awoo.space it also fails to find it there

I can fetch from awoo.space just fine, and authorized fetches are enabled there

unsure whether failing to pull up toots from sleeping.town is something broken on una's end or mine

@zoe still love seeing the blue-shell-like in srb2kart turn around and aim for yourself when you're in last place

(the checkpointing system is a hack that wasn't designed to handle realtime position updates, and then someone forced them in anyway)
