Kaito / Katie Sinclaire @KS@is.a.qute.dog

So, I've spent the last few days using all the knowledge I've learned working with ArcTyr to fork OpenTyrian (again...) and finally add *proper* Tyrian 2000 support.

The source code is publicly available: github.com/KScl/opentyrian2000

No builds currently because I don't have an environment set up to build for Windows.

@BatElite Yes, they stick out like a sore thumb :p

I guess I'm back to doing Tyrian dev stuff huh

@unascribed I get the feeling eugen still doesn't want it, and only added whitelist mode because people kept asking

considering it was completely untested and didn't even work at first

gender-feels

@BestGirlGrace that used to be me, like, before I came up with my own character and started shifting over to them

I still have to do double takes sometimes

@lightdark @devurandom unless something changed recently this is absolutely not how it works

I've had 16 items all lying on tables and gotten a 4* rating with a warning about loose items, and I know it wasn't from anything elsewhere because picking them up off the tables brought it back to 5*

@devurandom nope! I had the same idea, and they still count for some unknown reason

@devurandom so yes, if you do something like place turnips outside, you will basically never have 5*s

@devurandom it means you have 15 or more loose, non-natural items on the ground

anything that isn't tree branches or rocks counts, basically
