@unascribed where did i put my steve co supply crate keys

Yeah I'm doing beta releases via patreon, it helps me get past my barrier of "everything *has* to be near-perfect to publicly release things"

I will be committing changes in the future, apparently

(Windows keeps screwing with the time and I forgot to fix it)

Do you know why I dread working with Windows?

This shit is why. Every time I need to change or update something in Windows it feels entitled enough to declare itself the One True Operating System™ again and I have to open BIOS setting again to kick it back to grub

Windows stop fucking setting yourself to the top of the boot order challenge

I'd normally use CI to make windows builds for me, but appveyor doesn't let you set it up to a private repository unless you pay them monthly, so oof

I guess I need to boot into win10 and set up VS2019 at some point, huh

@monorail @Kat the tails in ice cap thing is just, the trigger to set the vertical looping flag is in sonic's snowboarding section, which tails skips

so if you don't enter the big ring, you reach the "bottom" of the stage and the game kills you

the starpost and big ring both set the flag correctly so it works fine after

@Kat @monorail the tails thing was separate

sonic 3's collision detection had Problems™, where it failed to detect walls properly if you were running vertically

and there were various places in the game where you could embed yourself inside of walls and floors if you weren't careful because of that, i remember carnival night being particularly bad about it

good afternoon! here is a PAL proto of Culture Brain's "Super Ninja Boy", which was only released in the US and Japan

at a glance it's mostly the same as the US version aside from some dialogue that was probably changed to meet Nintendo's guidelines

now if only ffmpeg didn't screw the audio up a bit at the end, huh,

New episode completion screen (ArcTyr as of about an hour ago)

oof, the menu key on my laptop's keyboard broke off

it looks like it was very flimsy and not meant to withstand much use

it was my compose key >>
