I think I am going to set up a patreon sometime over the course of tomorrow.

That's just going to give you the character count of ... the number of characters in the character counter. Which isn't very useful.

Just replace it with "{characterCounter}" outright.

Additionally, the disabled check for the publish button should just be "disabled={disabled || disableSubmitButton}", as otherwise it'll still check and disable the button at >500 characters.

@devurandom I fixed it last night, actually. I just found the results amusing.

Here's 10 and 20 iterations. Things certainly don't get any better. Hell, by 20 iterations some of the graphics have just decided enough is enough and disappeared entirely!
