@socks Website boy argues it's better for mobile accessibility, and to be fair, that argument *is* sound; it's exactly why I did something similar many years ago, the "Show More" tended to be a deceptively small area to press with your finger

(although in my case, the entire content warning is the clickable area, which I still think makes much more sense)

The hazard/warning tape along the side is definitely a bit much

... And, to be fair, without the unnecessarily gaudy warning stripes along the sides. Why put *that* there?

It's funny how website boy's new display for content warnings is actually pretty close to how they've looked on my little instance for years

(except the entire bar is clickable to show more)

@Dex The one thing that could convince me to switch back... they found it

(god, if _only_ it could be real...)

Someone pulled the fire alarm at PRGE lol

I guess if you wanted to extend the CTWC qualifiers that's one way to do it

@violet hearing this out of Tim Sweeney's mouth after one of my favorite Epic-published games of old literally had the evil greedy corporation fucking everything up be a thinly veiled Microsoft stand-in just made me laugh

(and then be sad at this is what he's fallen to)

@colinstu Too much, honestly.

At some point it turned from an "I don't particularly feel like updating, when the minor modifications I've made would need to be entirely redone" into more of a protest against the direction Mastodon has developed since.

@colinstu It is! The version number is no lie.

It's been modified a bunch such that it can keep communicating with modern Mastodon servers, but the base of it is indeed still 1.6.1.

@Hearth oh, absolutely, I thought that was the case for years

re: american healthcare®

@TonicBH @BatElite Oh, yeah, both of the levels I mentioned have interesting concepts, if a bit rough around the edges sometimes

I've just definitely seen the competing take too, from those that it didn't click with, that they're the worst of a bad lot

@BatElite @TonicBH There's a grand total of two levels in the Master Levels that stand out (Black Tower and The Express Elevator To Hell), and they stand out because of how *divisive* they are more than anything; they're either the best levels by a mile, or the worst levels by a mile depending on who you ask

Everything else is middling at best

@unascribed ah, yes, the Blue Key, i can now open blue doors--
