isn't it just lovely how the same day I start planning a good old vacation, things suddenly get worse and turn me into a panicking wreck

I am pretty sure that my current job has heavily damaged my hearing (as would be expected for wearing a headset and getting loud noises blasted in my ear for eight hours a day) but I can't leave and even if I did no one would be stupid enough to hire me anyway

I need somebody to just ... talk to, right now. But everybody here is asleep, and rightfully so.

Looks like me and @Raspberryfloof are heading out to San Fran on March 20th and staying the week, probably going to look into going to the side events surrounding GDC but not the actual conference itself, since I think it's not worth the money unfortunately

Oh my god this sums up chronic conditions so well... Having to force yourself to present well to fit into society, which makes people go "clearly there's nothing wrong with you"

My mother did this for ages. She never had any clue how I felt at any point and assumed everything was fake, and it's instilled a constant worry of "what if I am faking it" in me

I did actually buy the transparent dark green Joycons, by the way. I think they'll look cool.

Oh, they're on the second season now? I wonder if they've polished off the rough edges by this point. The trio's first season of Top Gear was also kinda rough, but it quickly improved once they got settled in, so...
