is it weird to be very uncomfortable when someone's pronouns are it/its?

too many times I saw others getting yelled at for it/its being "dehumanizing and disgusting" and that's made me very averse to using those pronouns to refer to anybody, and I just try to dodge pronouns entirely when that's the case (always using second person, etc)

@quine most of these bots are pretty clearly marked as bots though in the first place? especially now in 2.4 where there's proper bot tags added in

i disagree on the latter point for trivial content because missed clicks to open cws is a chunk of accidental notification generation (favs/boosts), especially on mobile where it's damn near impossible sometimes to open them
