I thought you had the concept of a joystick nailed down, Nintendo, how did you manage a design flaw like this?

@unascribed depending on where you do it and how much speed you need to obtain, yes; mostly because pause-buffering lets you be pressing the button every frame instead of every other frame (and needing to release the frame after)

@unascribed how do you pause-buffer real life, though?
