@eevee I still wanna see how you use @Raspberryfloof 's dice o.o
Holy crap these added gestures are FRUSTRATING.
I move my finger just a bit to the left and suddenly I'm looking at my notifications, and have lost my place on my home timeline
@KitRedgrave @maiyannah @archaeme I think the only part not done by Eugen was making DMs have a different background color.
It's so lazily implemented to be nearly worthless, considering if you aren't *right there* to get the notification, the DM is basically lost forever in a sea of other posts and notifications
I'm sitting here on my day off and playing through the Legend of Dragoon, a game I haven't ever properly finished despite playing it in my childhood
How's Mastodon things today?
@KitRedgrave *goodnight hug* <3
@kyzh I believe so, yep; back when the service first started the whole system was designed to allow use by SMS... In the era before smartphones were ubiquitous, it was actually a pretty smart idea, anyone could interact on the go even with crappy flip-phones and whatnot.
Really, I think the only reason they keep the character limit at this point is because everyone's so familiar with it.
I wonder how many people remember *why* Twitter has a 140 character tweet size limit?
@bvtsang Even if it were just a timeline like view of all DMs you've sent and received, it would be immensely useful
I know Twitter groups DMs between users together though, and maybe that's why Mastodon lacks it, but DMs barely get any visibility right now, it's way too easy for them to get lost forever behind other notifications
(though it was even worse before they had the different shading)
why is there not a "direct messages" column or tab anywhere
this seems like a thing that should really exist and I'm surprised that it doesn't
@kitredgrave @KitRedgrave w o w
Kit I think your bot is on a bit of a mean streak
I want to open up and maybe talk about lewd stuff here, but after what happened to Xkeeper I still feel very much at unease at the thought.
*gives @KitRedgrave the tightest hugs that he can*
Mobile interface is not actually designed for mobile use
Dear god these buttons are tiny
@matt I knew they'd done this since a couple of days ago but I didn't realize the plan they required you to be on was their highest tier, jfc
@KitRedgrave *hops up on your breakfast table and claims it for sylveon-kind*
Why is it #TMITuesday and not #TMITootsday
Might just try using the web interface added to the home screen via Chrome, honestly. Also comes with the benefit of keeping all of my changes to this instance...
Today on trying to use Mastodon on my phone:

Save me from the constant 100~110 heat please
