Stressed so much about work, the vacation, and seemingly being unable to get time off when I need it the most

I have not taken a vacation in almost two years and even then it was a very hurried "take flight, spend Thanksgiving day with grandparents and relatives, take flight back next day"

And yet I still have trouble with this

So extremely stressed about work right now

I'm going on a vacation in less than a week, but work has no accommodations for time off for me at all so I have to rely on trades.

I'm not missing this vacation because it is literally the only time we've all gone out on a trip together, all four of us as a group. But, if I just call out that day it's an instant write-up because it's the day after labor day.

I wanted to enjoy my weekend, instead I got sick over it and haven't been able to do much :<

The very last place I ate before leaving NC was at a Waffle House and it made me extremely sick... during a ~24 hour bus commute.

I was the one that did the avatar unification thing that wound up on glitch.social (and got rejected from mastodon proper), and I made sure to make it a SCSS variable so instances can change the border to be round just in case.

I don't hold S3K up to the gold standard; in fact I think it's heavily overrated. I grew up with S2 and SCD and think the latter is the best in the series and former is close second.
